The battle against ovarian cancer holds a special place in our hearts as one of our very own is an ovarian cancer survivor. Families ROC is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of Ovarian Cancer and supporting women and their families as they deal with the disease. FamiliesROC urges people to take on the challenge of walking/running and raising money for Ovarian Cancer awareness and research while achieving new fitness goals.

Join the Blue Element Salon on Sunday, September 22nd, 2013 at the Families ROC Roc Star 5K and help reach the 2013 goal of $75,000. Register online and list Blue Element Salon as the group you are running/walking with then email be@blueelementsalon.comso we can get info to you on the group's meeting location.

FamiliesROC is also the recipient of our September product donation drive. $2 from each shampoo/conditioner set sold in the month of September will be donated to Families ROC to raise money for ovarian cancer research that is taking place at Siteman Center for Advanced Medicine and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
